LAN Survey is a Client/Server network monitoring tool that tracks computers, printers, software, ODBC, RAS, IP numbers and network logons. LAN Survey also contains a folder contents tracker and a file version monitor. Single point of installation, no additional client setup required. You can examine the database from all computers : there is no need for dedicated managements consoles. Multi-user design. ODBC connections to database are possible. The storage of all detected modifications in the database is one of the features that distinguishes LAN Survey from most other tools. An overview of modifications is vital for helpdesks employees since modifications are a common cause of computer malfunctions. LAN Survey contains a scanner that should be run during a clients logon and an explorer to examine the results. No limitations on maximum number of registered users and/or computers.
